Guess who comes home this year?  This guy!  Now we really are on the downhill, its kinda weird!  Like its January, and possibly September I could be home, that's not that much time!

Hope everyone had a fun New Year.  We basically did nothing haha.  The only thing we did to celebrate was climb on top of our roof and watched fireworks.  The cool thing about our house (well its cool for new years, most of the time its a pain) is that its up on the side of a hill.  So we live like above the city, and have a pretty awesome view of all of Cocha.  So at midnight it was cool to see all of Cochabamba blowing up with fireworks.  But that's all that happened, just chilled up on the roof.

And honestly other than that it was an awfully uneventful week.  Ineffective too.  Bolivia parties hard during the New Years, so the majority of the population gets hammered haha.  So that means everyone is in their house sleeping, or if they aren't sleeping, they are dealing with a severe hangover, or still drunk.  So, that means very little got done haha.  But after running around crazy like last week with the wedding and baptism and all that, it was nice to have a week like this.  Makes for a boring update, but I'm still not going to complain!

Q: Who parties louder Cochabamba or Tarija (where Brandon was last New Years)?

A: Cocha parties louder haha.  But just cuz its so massive.  Tarija isn't even a third the size of Cocha. 

Q: Hopefully this week will pick up for you!  Maybe people will be more open to hearing your message with the beginning of the new year and new goals.  Do they set New Year resolutions down there?  Or is that an American thing?

A: Ya they kinda do, there are a lot of super weird traditions here.  Like they will eat 12 grapes, one at a time, and have like one wish for each grape, which represents one month of the year.  Another one is that if they want to go on a trip that year, they take their suitcases outside and walk around the block.  Haha weird right?  Didn't see anyone do it, but that's what I was told by multiple people.
