Honestly there is no news from this week, apologies in advance. But dang is it hot in this place! We are melting! Everyday it is just sun, sun, sun, its brutal! You just sweat your guts out all day walking around, not the funnest thing ever haha. And the best is when people are like, well isn't it hot in Utah too? You should be used to it right? Well obviously it gets hot in Utah, there's just a few giant differences. For one, air conditioning exists. Here, air conditioning means opening a window. Two, if its melting hot outside in Utah, I stay inside my house and play Xbox all day. As a missionary, I have to go out all day and walk around in the dirt under the sun haha. So lets hope this weather lets up and we can at least get some cloud cover, even better some rain!
What else? Oh, 13 months yesterday. You know whats interesting though. After hitting one year, you stop caring about time. Like before your year mark your always excited to complete another month, saying like "oh I'm almost halfway!" stuff like that. But then you hit your year mark and your like, "uhhh... That's only halfway?" haha. Once I hit about 18 or maybe 20 months is when it will be back to the excitement of completing months.
Our investigators are doing really well as of late! Thanks for all of your prayers. We have four baptisms scheduled for the 30th of this month! One is basically for sure, and the other three are a family, and we just have to wait for the Mom and Dad to get married. They've been together for years and years and years, but just haven't taken the time to be legally married, so that's where we are at with them, all they have to do is do the paperwork and we are set! So keep praying for them and for us!
That's the wrap up this week. Hope everyone is doing well back at home, Thanksgiving is on its way, and guess who won't be eating turkey? This guy! Talk to you next week!
Love,
Elder Sehestedt
