Our cute mail lady gave Dad the thumbs up as she put Brandon's mission call letter in the mailbox. He could see her from his office window. I imagine she's a very popular lady on Wednesdays. This is Thursday because yesterday was the 4th of July. We were hoping the letter would arrive today or else we would be joining Brandon on his vacation in California with his friends next week to open the letter.
The letter arrived around 11:00am. We had to wait until 2:00pm for everyone to arrive at the Letter Opening Party. It felt like forever!!!
At the last minute, Mom decided to have us watch Elder Ronald A. Rasband - The Divine Call of a Missionary video. Since it wasn't planned, we watched it on her computer instead of the TV. Either way, it was an awesome lead up to opening the mission call.
Brandon looks pretty excited to show off his official mission call to Bolivia, Cochabamba Mission entering the Provo MTC on October 17th. This is also Brandon's great, great grandpa's birthday. Hopefully, Grandpa Springville will be watching over Brandon as goes to serve the Lord.
